ü There is a community with a range of people who share commitment and motivation to bring about change

What you could do
è Try to find solutions to some of the barriers to community involvement and community based learning opportunities e.g. through people’s involvement as ‘users’ in groups such as parent and toddler groups and ‘drop-ins’, and through looking at provision such as child and dependant care, bilingual support, use of accessible venues
è Negotiate the provision of new training opportunities that support community involvement and development
