A Check-list for Background Variables
for an exploratory analysis of
community level social capital data
from Central and East European Countries
Project on Community Development Partnership Building
in Central and Eastern Europe
Preliminary notes
This list serves as a guideline for checking background variables for the community level social capital surveys carried out under the given Networking Project.
The list is tentative and its application is voluntary for those involved in the Project. If done, however, it may well enhance the value of the data pooled from local surveys with very diverse backgrounds. Feed-back on the list may help in making a more controlled interpretation of the findings we have to date, and may contribute to better coordinated methodologies for future research.
For those who are ready to respond, the time-line for sending the completed list is 21 May.
